With the festive season over and a new year underway, Passions of Paradise would like to thank our passengers from the past year for their efforts in helping us make our operation more sustainable. Specifically, our first year running as a carbon-neutral product has been a rousing success. This year, we invited passengers to directly donate into our carbon offset plan; for a one dollar donation, passengers could offset the carbon footprint of their trip out to the Great Barrier Reef. The numbers are in, and they are incredible: In 2015, our passengers raised over $5,800, all of which has gone to the Australian Rainforest Foundation.
Passions would like to extend a huge “Thank you!” to all our passengers that have made this possible, and we look forward to making 2016 an even better year for conservation!
