Passions Agents Day

Passions of Paradise has a new dive site and it was a hit with a group of Tropical North Queensland travel and tour agents when they encountered sharks, turtles, fish and breathtaking coral life during a trip on March 25.

Long Bombie has not been dived by many people yet, but Passions will have the moorings finished very soon so the location can be shared with everyone.

The 30 agents from as far north as Palm Cove and south to Mission Beach were treated to the full day trip to Michaelmas Cay and Paradise Reef, hosted by Sales and Marketing Manager Michael Dodds (Doddsy) and local sales rep Adam O’Malley (Fluffy).

Heading out to Michaelmas Cay the group encountered a small amount of rain, but like most days on the Great Barrier Reef it quickly disappeared and they enjoyed perfect weather with light winds, calm seas and 15-20m underwater visibility.

A number of agents completed their first ever intro dive onboard while the certified divers took the dive tender to Long Bombie which Maggie from Cairns Airport Renta Cars described as “world class”.

Roz Barnett from Cairns Holiday Park said she now understood why Passions has won so many awards. “It’s because your staff combine their passion for service with an excellent product and the net result is a memorable experience for everyone. We really appreciated your invitation and thank you, Alan and staff for a wonderful day that will certainly help us sell more of the same experiences to our guests,” she said.

Louise from Castaways Backpackers said every member of the Passions team was brilliant, kind and fun. “Thank you so much for having me out on the boat it was definitely luxury for me. I had a great time on the two dives that I did, I couldn’t have asked for a better day,” she said.

A great day was had by everyone and Passions would like to thank all the agents for taking the time to join us for the day.

Congratulations to Ingrid from Mission Beach Info Station who won a mask, snorkel, fins and bootie package courtesy of SCUBAPRO.
